On the field at the University of Nebraska’s Memorial Stadium, members of the orthopedics team at Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center, Lincoln, NE, celebrate their status as a Blue Distinction Center.
Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center, Lincoln, NE, received the Blue Distinction Center designation for hip and knee replacement from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska. The designation means that Saint Elizabeth and its Joint Center have met stringent criteria established with the recommendations of expert clinicians and leading professional organizations. Saint Elizabeth’s Joint Center has performed more than 9,000 hip and knee replacements since its inception in 2001, more than any other hospital in the area.
